David Crawford, Ph.D.. Econsult President, spoke to the Wharton Club of South Florida at the Isle of  Capri Casino in Pompano Beach, Florida on November 8, 2007. His remarks titled “The Economic Impacts of Gaming: Perspectives from Pennsylvania” were based on Econsult’s work for the Philadelphia Gaming Advisory Task Force, Foxwoods, and Tropicana.
Econsult Corporation published its report, "Transit-Oriented Development in Philadelphia: Using a Proven Strategy to Create More Vibrant, Livable Neighborhoods," in conjunction with Neighborhoods Now.  Richard Voith presented the report at a kickoff event at the Cira Centre on October 25, 2007.

Alex Vekker, Ph.D., Econsult Vice President and labor market expert, was a guest on a one-hour call-in talk show on Voice of America radio on Labor Day 2007. Dr. Vekker, a former Russian citizen and now an American citizen, discussed American and Russian labor markets. The show was conducted  in Russian for broadcast to Russian speakers.

Econsult’s Rachel Brooks, Research Analyst with Econsult, is now Miss Pennsylvania 2007. Ms. Brooks has assumed her duties as Miss Pennsylvania effective June 23, 2007 and is on leave from Econsult Corporation until June 24, 2008 - or longer, should she go on to become Miss America. Granitz, Senior Associate of Econsult is being honored by the Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholders as President of Proud Neighbors of Collingswood with a "Citizen of the Year Award" at the Collingswood Community Center Ballroom, 30 Collins Avenue, 2nd floor on April 19, 2007 at 7pm.

Proud Neighbors of Collingswood have been nominated for a "Community Action Award for Achievements by Community Organizations" at the Preservation Achievement Awards by Philadelphia Alliance for Greater Philadelphia.
