Econsult co-authored “The Economic Value of Protected Open Space in Southeastern Pennsylvania” on behalf of GreenSpace Alliance and the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission. Econsult’s co-authors were the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia and Keystone Conservation Trust. The report details the economic, environmental, recreation, health, and property value benefits of protected open space in the five-county region of Southern Pennsylvania. In total, the economic value of Open Space exceeds hundreds of millions of dollars annually. A Press Conference announcing the findings in the report was held at the Valley Forge National Park on November 16, 2010.
