Bernard E. Anderson, Ph.D.
. is Senior Advisor of Econsult Corporation and former Whitney M. Young Professor of Management at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr Anderson is an expert on labor economics and human resource management and former Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of Labor for the Employment Standards Administration.
Gregory R. Byrnes, M.A.
. is Senior Advisor of Econsult Corporation and is president of Byrnes Communications and publisher of an annual magazine that highlights the region's positive business trends. He spent 20 years marketing the city and the region as the former director of economic and business development for PECO and former president of the Philadelphia Developers Alliance.
Joseph P. Fuhr, Jr., Ph.D.
. is Senior Advisor of Econsult Corporation and Professor of Economics at Widener University. Dr. Fuhr has extensive experience in the analysis of antitrust matters and economic issues relating to the health care industry, telecommunications and sports.
Daniel C. Gundersen, M.G.A.
is Senior Advisor of Econsult Corporation. He is a former cabinet official for the State of New York and held senior positions in Commerce for the governors of Pennsylvania and Maryland. His experiences include directing highly successful public/private partnerships in Greater Philadelphia. Dan Gundersen is on the board of the International Economic Development Council.
Charles J. Isdell, A.A.E.,
is a Senior Advisor of Econsult Corporation. Charles was Philadelphia’s Director of Aviation from 2000 to 2009. He is a member of the American Association of Airport Executives’ Policy Review Committee. He earned his Master’s Degree at Temple University and later completed the Wharton Advanced Management Program. He was recently named an “Executive in Residence” at Temple’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Management.
Brett Mandel, M.G.A.
is Senior Advisor of Econsult Corporation and is the former Executive Director of Philadelphia Forward, a citizens' organization advocating tax fairness, ethics reform, and budgetary transparency. Previously, Brett served as Director, Financial and Policy Analysis, in the City of Philadelphia Office of the Controller. He is also the author of a number of books about Philadelphia urban policy and baseball in American culture.
Joel L. Naroff, Ph.D.
. is Senior Advisor of Econsult Corporation, President and founder of Naroff Economic Advisors and a nationally recognized economic forecasting expert. Dr. Naroff advises companies across the country on the risks and opportunities that economic development may have on their organization's operating environment. He is on the Board of both the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia and the Corporate Committee of the Philadelphia Orchestra.
Carolyn H. Nichols, Esq.
is a Senior Advisor of Econsult Corporation and owner of a multi-disciplinary business and legal consulting firm specializing in diversity policies, government relations, business, litigation and transactional law. Former positions include Deputy Finance Director and Minority Business Enterprise Council Director and Deputy Secretary of External Affairs for the City of Philadelphia.
Aqil A. Sabur
is a Senior Advisor of Econsult Corporation. Aqil is an economic development and finance professional with a thirty year history and solid background in private and public sector business development. He formerly served as the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Minority Business Development Authority, the West Philadelphia Financial Services Institution, and president of the Philadelphia Commercial Development Corporation.

is a Senior Advisor of Econsult Corporation. Craig is principal of Schelter & Associates. His practice provides counsel and support to organizations that promote job creation and that seek to balance growth with environmental, design and community sensitivity.
Sam Sherman
is a Senior Advisor of Econsult Corporation and owner of Sam Sherman Associates, LLC and New Urban Ventures—both focused on New Urbanist development in Philadelphia. Sam is Board member of the Congress for New Urbanism’s Philadelphia and National boards; Chairman of the Philadelphia Historical Commission and past President of the Building Industry Association of Philadelphia.
